All roads lead to Ballinrobe Racetrack this Sunday, August 14th as Midwest Radio present the province’s biggest ever FAMILY CRAIC AT THE TRACK FUN DAY with a promise that it will be one of the most entertaining outdoor events of the year in the West.
The FAMILY CRAIC AT THE TRACK FUN DAY is aimed at the entire family with every interest catered for at the superb facilities that are now available at Mayo’s premier racetrack.
The cream of the Irish country music industry have been lined up for a three-hour musical spectacular featuring Mike Denver, Jimmy Buckley, Robert Mizzell, Patrick Feeney, Dominic Kirwan, Louise Morrissey, Lisa McHugh, Mick Flavin, John McNicholl, Gerry Guthrie, Brendan Shine, the Carpenters Tribute Band and the latest sensation to hit the scene, The Willoughby Brothers.
With 13 of the hottest acts in the land, the main music arena will be electric from 2 p.m. and the various acts will perform with a 10-piece band.
But it doesn’t end there. Patrons will be able to meander around the track and take in the various restaurants and bars and capture the atmosphere of many other exciting events.
There will be hourly puppet-shows and magic shows as well as face-painting, clowns, Disney characters and a very special kiddies’ disco that will keep the kiddies entertained all afternoon.
The day will finish off with a massive outdoor Ceili Mor with one of Ireland’s top Ceili bands, The Annaly Ceili Band on hand to deliver a rousing end to an incredible days’ entertainment.
Tickets for Midwest Radio’s FAMILY CRAIC AT THE TRACK FUN DAY tickets are priced at just €22 (including booking fee), second and third level students €10 and all primary school pupils admitted free of charge.
