Ballinrobe Racecourse Receives Nomination for Horse Racing Ireland’s ‘Racecourse of the Year’ Award
Ballinrobe Racecourse is thrilled to be nominated for the prestigious ‘Racecourse of the Year’ award by Horse Racing Ireland. The 2023 Horse Racing Ireland awards ceremony is set to take place on Monday, December 4th, in Dublin.
There are four nominations for the Racecourse of the Year Award: Ballinrobe, Leopardstown, Naas and Punchestown. The findings of an online industry survey taken earlier this year – in which almost 1,500 people responded to a variety of questions, including several on Irish racecourses – was used to determine the nominees for this award.
John Flannelly, the racecourse manager, expressed his delight at the nomination, stating, “We are thrilled to be nominated for Racecourse of the Year. This recognition is a testament to our dedicated efforts in maintaining high standards across all facets of the racecourse. From providing a memorable race day experience for our valued customers to catering to the needs of the racing industry, this nomination is a great honor.”
Flannelly extended congratulations to fellow nominees Leopardstown, Naas, and Punchestown, acknowledging their achievements, and looks forward to the awards ceremony on Monday evening next.
