Traverse won his first Irish race at Ballinrobe in 2003. Traverse is owned by Hector O’hEochagain, the star of the RTE TV series “Only Fools Buy Horses.”
Doran’s Pride
Dorans Pride won his first race at Ballinrobe in 1993. Doran‘s Pride is a former Cheltenham Stayers’ Hurdle winner and twice placed in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Doran’s Pride is owned by Mayo man, Tom Doran. He went on to win 1 million euros on the track.
